The lord of the rings has been adapted for radio, films, etc. But the most important was in film.These films had been made for six years, and was spent around $280 millions. The first film was produced in 2001, the second one in 2002,and the last one in 2003. They were directed by Peter Jackson, and when the first film was showed, it was a success because the film showed spectacular effects, and its plot was different. Since theirs projections, the lord of the rings have been recognized like the most important epic film, they have won plenty of prizes like: Oscar,as the best movie in 2003, and the golden globe awards etc.
